This one took hundreds of hours to make, and it is a genuine labor of love.
Three weeks living in the Peak District with two small kids, too many suitcases, and a growing list of mistakes we would like to formally apologize for. Inside you will find the packing disasters, the five hour transatlantic panic attack, the sheep that owned the road at Chatsworth, and the strange, half ruined beauty of Bolsover Castle. Plus "Zach's Take," his unfiltered side of the story, dropped in throughout.
It is part travel writing, part comedy of errors, part actual history of the places we stumbled through, Eyam, Haddon Hall, Hathersage, and more. Not written by experts. Written by two people who were, frankly, still figuring out where they had parked.
This is the first in a planned series, and I am hoping it does well enough that I get to write many more of these. If you enjoy it, that is the whole reason I get to keep going. Thank you for being here for it.
